Taking in three mountain ranges, this 230-mile challenge requires a good pair of lungs and a strong pair of legs. From the quiet rural lanes of Colwyn Bay, through the mountains and into our Welsh capital, the rewards of this challenge are more than worth it; as the scenery promises some of the most stunning Wales has to offer!

Day 1| 17th March 2017
Travelling to Colwyn Bay
Participants travelling from the south will be picked up from Cardiff, with bikes and luggage, and will travel to Colwyn Bay where the team will gather for dinner and a pre-event briefing before a good night’s rest.
Day 2 |18th March 2017
Colwyn Bay to Aberystwyth
Distance: 114 miles
After breakfast y ou’ll cycle to the heart of Wales using minor roads, railway paths, forestry tracks and ancient coach roads. This will be the most challenging day of the journey as you cross Snowdonia National Park and the range of the Cambrian Mountains. En route, there will be water stops and a lunch stop. You will meet your fellow cyclists in Aberystwyth for a hearty and well deserved meal before resting up for the night.
Day 3 |19th March 2017
Aberystwyth to Cardiff
Distance: 115 miles
After breakfast you’ll continue your journey from Aberystwyth in the heart of Wales to Cardiff. You won’t be disappointed by the natural beauty of this part of the journey! The route then heads through Brecon where the popular traffic-free Taff Trail begins. Skimming several valleys towns, the route continues on to central Cardiff, before reaching its end point and a post-cycle gathering at the Principality Stadium, where you’ll receive a warm Tenovus Cancer Care welcome!
